Recommend active subwoofers with speaker input!

I am looking for a such subwoofer to supplement my S100 driven stereo. Any reasonably priced suggestions?

Is there a method or adapter to give input to subwoofer from poweramp speaker out to line in of an active subwoofer?

And to answer the part about using an adapter...

Yes there are some out there. But they're more likely to create problems (noise, pops, distortion).

The Gallo TR-1 has received good reviews from numerous places and is a bargain. It can usually be found on Audiogon used for around $200. In fact, I'm about to put one up for sale (I just switched speakers, and my new speakers do not need a subwoofer).
