Hey, i recently cleaned out my dads garage and found these two little Klipsch K-55-v'S

I was wondering first of all if they were rather important components that might be worth of value to any people. and if so where should i sell this? (ebay ... etc)

some pictures:

Umm is anyone able to identify what it is and what its for and what its value is $$ thanks

Looks like the driver from an old horn to me.

Probably a good thing you have a pair. No idea on value tho... maybe pop them up on audiogon.com or diyaudio.com and see what interest you get.

I believe many of the older Klipsch full horn speakers used that driver. I would think that the pair would sell in excess of $100 on ebay (if they work and in good condition).

Klipsch has a large enough following and these could be used for a Klipschorn restoration.
Are the serial numbers sequential?

Did a quick search and see that they are midrange drivers. They will work in my Heresy's! Prices range a bit from about $60 for a single to one guy selling a pair of Atlas (same thing) for $350+.

Nice find!

They look to be in good condition- they might be worth a few bucks.

Time to roll up your sleeves and do some Googling. Or find a Klipsch forum to ask.

eBay would be aplace to sell it?

You have a pair of phenolic diaphragm compression driver used by Klipsch in the past as a mid driver, for example on the Shorthorn 15.
