and having personally worked for a slaughterhouse, you should know that a "scooter" is a pig who's front legs have been crushed from the weight of other animals (some dead) piled on top of it. This isn't uncommon.

i know its a felony...........its a felony in all states but two. my point is that if they want this to end then ownership of this "mean" dogs should be regulated.

did not this have more to do with sexual attraction than beauty? i mean, you can have a beautiful young girl, but you are not attracted to her.

Michael Vick squandering his talent is the real tragedy for me in this whole affair.

Through NFL beat writers, one gets the impression that his worth ethic is lacking in film study and the off season. Add to that his poor decision making like flipping the bird last year and being involved in dog fighting - not very intelligent for a starting quarterback in the league.

I'm hoping this affair goes away and he grows up because in my lifetime I've never seen a more exciting football athlete. He is blessed with remarkable skill.

His latest interviews don't hint a maturing process though - too bad. He should be just entering his prime, but instead people are talking about this.

So we should slaughter animals for the sheer entertainment of it?

It’s sad this isn’t categorically condemned. To try to create some moral equivalency between the recreational abuse and destruction of animals for our entertainment with raising animals for food is ridiculous.

Fighting pit bulls are bred for aggression that is why you have to be careful when you adopt them. If you treat a pitbull with love, kindness and a firm hand as mentioned above you will have an excellent pet. Mile Vick should be heavily fined and barred from owning any dogs until he undergoes counciling and does community service. Stupid, stupid, stupid.

A good example of alot of money and fame going to an immature guy leads to bad decision making. Couple that with a big ego and you have a train wreck waiting to happen. Unfortuneately in this society we can't change any of the above, we just have to stand by and wait for the wreck to happen.
