Tweak - Liquid Resolution

I recently purchased Liquid Resolution and wondered if anyone else had any experience with this tweak.

On the first few CDs, I have treated, I notice a improvement in the width and depth of the soundstage. It is not as dramactic as the ads claim but it is definitely there.

I also treated my Diana Krall "Live in Paris" DVD and the images seemed to have more clarity.

Not really.

Have you tried any of the solutions listed in the review?

I don't notice it as exteme as the review and Xtreme AV's website indicated, though.

Not a good idea supporting this stuff. I would seriously disregard all you think u heard let it go.

It's an objective fact in by the way digital works.
When you pop in a CD; the player will cache chucks of the data to a buffer then play from IT (the buffer NOT the cd). Braille card colors do not affect the translation.

The only way that something like this could possibly ever have an effect the sound is through a possible increase in PSU efficiency.
If your CD's nick free; then the censor should be able to pick everything up first go and not have to rely on the PSU to scan again.
This could possibly effect the analog stages. But hey it's the Audiophile world, anything's possable.

I can assure you though I'd never throw my money away on this garbage.

Edit:
If there's some on the fly play technology with bogus error correction, this would be the only other way that something like this could have an effect.

I guess the key is always have an open mind, but I’m tired and close my mind on this one, seems way to foolish.

I have not, but have been curious about some of these treatments, and find your experience interesting.

I doubt you'll get many answers to the precise question you pose, however, as opposed to unsolicited opinions as to why it cannot possibly work, comments bemoaning snake oil, etc. You really can't ask for "experience" regarding certain tweaks on this sub-forum, because a large segment of people don't want to talk about actual "experience" or allow others to talk about it, but are more interested in making fun, diverting the thread, etc. Anyway, watch it happen (as it has already.)

If you are really interested in actual "experience", you basically have to tell folks to confine their comments to that, and that might reduce some of the thread krapping.

Sorry this is a scam and wrong.

When you hear about gypsy's selling clover to old people for $50 do you say "Hey, I shouldn't knock it, I haven't tried it". Do you buggery, you call it what it is, a scam.

I am sorry you have been conned out of your hard earned to buy this, however your claims about it

"[improving] the width and depth of the soundstage"

are frankly ridiculous. Internet forums are good because they expose individuals to an unbiased knowledgebase. [I hope that] Nobody here is being paid to promote a particular product, unlike magazines etc... Bull**** like this deserves to be shot down as soon as it is mentioned to save as many people money as possible.

I have seen posted here many times and I will repeat for your consideration, the best and most cost effective upgrade is the source, ie. buy a better cd player. You "may" hear sonic improvements from fluid treatments, resonance controls and better/fancier ics and power cords, but you will most definitely hear and improvement from a better player, redbook, SACD, HDCD, Squeezebox, whatever. I fell for the Auric Illuminator because it was a "cheap and cost effective improvement in sonic", well it was cheaper than a new Reimyo cdp.....

Placebo in a bottle with a rag. Makes everything sound better.

Everyone is entitled to their opinions and I respect them.

I do like to try different different items, which is probably why I have more headphone amplifiers, headphones and cables than I really need.

I believe the vendor offers a 30-day guarantee so if I don't feel it delivers some improvement for less than 25 cents a CD, I am out nothing other than the shipping.

Is positive-feedback.com a joke site?

A normal battery operated digital clock with an orange sticker on it ("specially treated"), which magically enhances the sound in the whole house.
It really would be a great parody... but somehow methinks this is NOT a parody

Well, that's one way to proceed, i.e., to try things on return and then return them if you're not convinced that they don't make a real improvement or are not worth the cost. That's a pretty radical approach, though.

So much for accepting people and things around you which may differ from your personal perspectives

FWIW I am skeptical of such a tweak myself, I would be asking to look for the explanation in relevant physical terms.
