Ordered it today, expecting it tomorrow or Wednesday, I read great this about it, it's replacing my H10, I also ordered a Shield Zone full body shield. Also ordered some faomies (olives) for me E4's hopefully by this weekend I will be a happy camper. Gotta download me some more music for my collection 170 kbps+

If you intend to use the A2 as a video player, you should rethink using the Shield Zone body shield.
Although these shields do a great job protecting the Cowon I found the reduced visibility annoying.
The A2 comes with a nice leather case which should be all you need.
Just my thoughts...

Good to know, I hope you didn't follow directions, but I assume you probably did and the screen becomes worse viewing. At leas tthe shield will protect the casing.

Weird, I use the InvisibleShield from Shield Zone and I don't have any issues with reduced visibility. Plus, the shield on the front prevents dust from getting under the screen.

The only problem I have with the A2 is that it's doesn't play LAME --vbr-new MP3 files properly. This is becoming increasingly annoying, as more and more of the videos I *ahem* download seem to be using --vbr-new for the sound encoding. It's also annoying because I reencoded my entire CD collection with --vbr-new for use with my iriver H120 before I discovered the problem. DOH.

Several issues have been raised with Cowon about this, but it's uncertain whether or not they'll get around to fixing it. Here's hoping, though, 'cause the Wolfson DAC in this sucker sounds fantastic. Wonderful sound quality with --vbr-old MP3s or FLACs. And a great video player to boot!

Thanks for the reassurance packgrog, sometime I will get some closed Beyer DT 770 and a hornet, but I think it will work excellently with my E4's.
