Thanks for sharing, the i-doser business model indeed has "rip-off" written all over it. I think I'm just not "zen" enough to have this work before it starts irritating me, but might give it another go when I'm aptly knackered.

Super total Placebo. I tried the "trip" ones and all that happened was some binaural sine waves moving around to make me feel like I'm moving.

So dumb.

Apparently BWgen is supposed to work unlike I-doser.

this somehow reminds me of that House episode on the plane...placebo x 10000. a few kids in my school were talking about it....

its just pink noise and humming....its like hypnotizing yourself into thinking you're high.

BWgen is the same thing....

i further examined my idoser (which im glad i didnt pay for)...and i concluded that it really is hypnotizing yourself..... i mean if you listen to that for 40 mins like some of the *drugs* call for, im sure you can definitly trick yourself into some effects.

to try to sell this self hypnotizer as drugs should be a crime lol...

well, in any case, this is healthier than most drugs, so more power to 'em.

I give it about a 6 on a scale of 1 to 10. It seemed to make me tingle in my head a little, and my arms some. Its like it makes your head vibrate, very slightly.

I still can't get the wav files, but something tells me that its just a rip off anyways and not worth my time.

Well, I tried the alcohol one that came with it and I felt like I was buzzed for a few seconds but I think more than anything it was just my brain and ears rattling around so much.

So for kicks, I decided to try the Oxycontin one. I was addicted to pain pills for many years (been clean now many years though) so I know exactly what they all feel like. Well, let me tell you, this one's completely bogus.

I-Doser has a great market here scamming kids (and perhaps adults, too). They should be more concerned with destroying kids' eardrums than selling them bogus crap because that's exactly what will happen with these repetitive tones. I did it for 2 minutes and my ears hurt, even at low volumes.

Nice try, but this one's totally busted.

I tried the Marijuana one and fell asleep after 10 minutes.
The complete dose was 45 minutes long, I woke up after about 1 hour, the dose was complete, but I didn't feel anything at all. LOL

Feeling nothing at all, I switched my laptop off, put my cans aside and just went to bed instead.

you shouldn't think or fall asleep when using it as well

Wow resurrecting thread form 2007 lol

Anyway I've been trying it myself, but I think it's not working because I'm a skeptic.  I have 598s so idk if the fact that they're open messes it up either, I'll try with my k540s.  I really don't have any totally closed cans... I have to get a pair of dt770s sometime once I get a good amp.

Anyone who's had experience with this have any input on which ones work best?  I understand this whole thing probably sounds foolish but hell, I'll give anything a shot once to see if it's legit.

It works perfectly with headphones with noise insolation (meaning they are tightly shut), Such as the B&W P5, the senn HD25-II or if you want to get something cheaper just view the I-Doser recommended headphones, a pair of skull candy's should do the trick; they don't know why

sorry, I'm a cynic, this is just me thinking, I haven't heard any of the files, or taken illicit drugs in my life.

Ok, I'm using Crystal meth as an example, but I hope like hell no-one on this forum has done it before.
anyway, it works by causing the body to release alot of dopamine into the brain, and by alot we're talking 5 or 6 times more than the brain will release naturally.
this causes the intense high, and the resulting comedown, there are also a multitude of side effects, but we assume these files don't want to emulate those (you know, the paranoia, not feeling hungry, thirsty or tired for days on end etc.)
But what they would be implying is that this music file could emulate this, by stimulating the brain to release this obscene amount of dopamine. I can't imagine that would work, and if it did, it would be almost as dangerous as the actual drug.  The body physically can't cope with that, it eventually stops making dopamine, ie you will never feel happy again, there are other side effects too, much worse ones. basically, if it works, it's not safe, and would have been banned by now, there would be issues with addicts of it the same as with crystal meth.

Anyone care to actually look into this? have there been any proper studies done?
