I'll bother Ray if i get *one response from this thread.

My *Tommy* at random times Act's out as if the power switch has been turned off, it starts to *Fuzz out on me if i Tap it or jiggle a bit it works normal.

When i say act's out on me, I mean it acts as if the batterys are running dead,(sound diminishes within a few sec,s)
It's the same with 100% new batterys eveready, duracell ect. as 100+hour used battery's.

I know 99.9% of the responds will be send it back to ray a.s.a.p...
He will sort it out with haste.

Thing is, as i said if i give it some electrical charge with my fingers.. i mean i barely need to touch it it starts up again fine, or a slight nudge through some light clothing, again it starts up fine..

Im more interested if anyone else has had the same problem or if im just luckin out at serial N0.254..

regards..Jimmeh..

No harm, no foul ray.. all is Good..
I may send it back to you, but I'll find it hard to be without my L'il beast for even 1 day....even if it is faulty..

Clean the back plate from any hand oil & close the back panel securely with those two thumb knuts. Make sure that the back panel has no black anodized corners that do not conduct electricity, if they do, remove the anodized corners on the back plate so the clear area, non anodized, will touch the batteries with ease.

Yes!

BTW, at about 250 hours I swap the batteries. It usually gets me 400 to 500 hours.

Cheers for pointing me in that thread direction WolfB...

It's only with duracell battery's.

Helsinki,Europe duracell's only?
not sure but the energizers dont have as much excess plastic around the negative end.

I gave a new set of energizers a good week and it diddnt happen once.
put the duracell's back in and it happened same day.
made me check this post for updates, i took away the excess plastic from the duracell's and its been fine for a few days..

Thing to look out for if anyone has the same problem..

(kicking myself i diddn't try cutting that excess off before i made this dribble thread.)
