Starcraft I and Diablo (I, II, and LOD) occupied my time on so many nights. I can't wait for Starcraft II, and if/when Diablo III comes out, I will be even happier, as long as it doesn't end up like WoW.

The game dosen't look like it is going to need a super powerful computer. Blizzard is probably going to concentrate more on gameplay and go easy on the graphics so it is playable for everyone. They did it with the original starcraft and wow so... I doubt the game will be more tasking then say Company of Heroes, C&C 3 or Supreme Commander, which needs a flippin quad core to play super smooth.

I think have watched the gameplay trailer 20 times...hell it is better then watching that disappointingl episode of heroes...

Hi res version of the video, just what i was hoping for! Zealots look really cool, and the details of the siege tank explosions, wow! Mutalisks... so organic looking. . gonna be a long wait!

Starcraft galore!

So my friends and I were at the mall yesterday, waiting before we went to go see Shrek the Third.

Well, we decided to stop in at EB games, just to see what was happening.

Lo and behold, they were having a sale. I hadn't intended to get anything cause I was waiting until I had a job to make any purchases in the video game department, and the Wii was at the top of my list.

However, in the 50% off bin was 5 copies of Starcraft: Battle Chest (includes Starcraft, Brood War expansion, and two strategy guides). So each of us got a Battle Chest for $10. Man, this is addictive. We just started playing against each other, and we haven't stopped for about 4 hours. I'm not in the current battle, since I was at dinner when it started, so I'm in single player mode.

Wow, I can't believe it took me this long to finally start playing this game.

Already reserved it!!! Put $5 down at gamestop. It comes out october 2008. I think I should be able to get a half way decent compy rig by then!

When has blizzard ever been on time with ETA's? If they say oct 2008, It'll probably be available early 2009. It's a tragedy that there aren't many good RTS games that came out recently, except for warhammer 40k, but multiplayer mode isn't as good as the storyline mode, even for with the expansion packs.

Despite being an RTS slut, I'm anticipating Mass Effect for the 360, that game takes the cake for the sci-fi genre, and come on, it's from Bioware! This time I don't have to be afraid of the ETA being pushed back, cause it has been already, lol.
