Yes. My both Stellos are from hifi500. Extremely fast shipping and good customer service.

It looks like I have made up my mind since the DA100 goes so well with my other equipment.

So I finally got my humming DA100 replaced. It was caused by a fault in the printing of the PCB. I have to say that throughout this April Music provided amazing customer service, and although they are halfway across the globe, they communicated well with me via emails.

They did give me a 2 items to compensate for the trouble. One of them is a 1GB pendrive. Hats off if you can guess what the item on the left is..

I would guess it is a sleek piece of cloth to brush the dust from their all new Aura

Nice gadgets there

Bump to this thread, and I have a question that has probably been answered before..

If I run a SACD player (like the Oppo 970) as transport into the DA100, will it be able to cope with the extra bits?

That square thing is a mobile phone screen cleaner. Go figure.

The short answer is no.

The longer answer is that first, transports that can put out a SACD signal are in most cases prohibitively expensive. We are talking like state-of-the-art transport/DAC combos in the Esoteric, Wadia, EMM Labs range, i.e., over 5 figures.

Second, SACDs don't have extra bits. In fact, they only have 1 bit, but at a sampling rate 64 times more than the standard 44.1khz carried by regular CDs.

We > You. Congrats on the purchase =]

I love how finally the usage of this product is developing, we need more sources in middle range with innate musicality and quality.
