How do you guys pack your rigs? I just bought an amp this week + dock and I'm pretty sure I won't be able to fit my babies inside my pockets.

Nice rigs EFN. Hope I have the interconnect as you do.

Nice EF'N rig.

I really like rigs like this that are meticulously planned and refined. I can't wait to read a full review of the combined synergy of that rig. Congrats on being close to done and exposing the greatness of one of the best IEMs ever made.

i actually think THAT is not portable...

if you cant put it in a pocket, it can't be considered "portable"

maybe a rig you can carry around but not...

meh im jus jealous.

Curious, how exactly do you carry that? In your hand, your jacket, bag??? Does anybody say anything about it in the public?
LOL! guys, THAT thing is actually very pocketable and I do carry them with me ALL the time - work, shopping, strolling you name it!!!. And yes they are final because I don't intend to be spending any more $ on audio rig. All my funds now go to Photography (frigin lens are damned expensive!). And further more I don't think anything I do after this will make them sound any better. They offer me audio bliss like no other I have ever heard before - so there is a term of "enough" LOL!

PS:
When mere mortals saw my rig in the public they go "silent mode".......speechless I guess hahahaha. They were too frozen in the head to even ask me WHAT is that thing LOL!

That is because the rig looks, well...explosive. They might think that you are some crazy suicide bomber!!!

Exactly what I thought too! It's "da bomb", both literally and figuratively speaking

Amazing work as always EFN! But isn't the on/off switch on the Xin kinda exposed in this iteration of your rig? Looks like it could be easily switched by accident. But I assume you didn't affix it permanently to the iPod, you can still turn the amp 90°?

That's exactly what I thought to myself when I saw it, but on closer inspection, it looks like the amp needs to sit that way to have the line-in jack be at the right height.

Yep, the amp has to be in that exact position in order to receive the gigantic Canare F12 Plug. With the caps and all, there's not much room for placement. Lucky thing SuperMicro-IV is small enough to compensate
