These PCDPs served me well for a brief experiment regarding sound quality differences. Now, it's time to sell!

Since owning these players, I have only put a handful of hours on them. They are all in working condition and are guaranteed to work on arrival.

Now, the players!

-----------------------------------------------------

Sony D-111

The youngest sibling of the D-x11 stable (ex. 211 and 311), the D-111 is also quite rare. While it doesn't have the metal construction of the other two, it has a similar body shape, and would probably be collectable by owners of the other players in the line. The sound quality of the D-111 is unique in that it is very laid-back for a Sony player, but still detailed and musical. For its age, the condition of this player is relatively good. Manufactured in June 1992. Price: $35 shipped.

-----------------------------------------------------

Sony D-135

The little brother of the D-x35 series (ex. 335). While not a top-end player, the 135 maintains some of the sound signature similarities with players like the 235 and 335. This one has some scuffs, but still plays well. For a budget player, the sound quality is not bad--a bit bassy, a bit trebly, not the most detailed, but the headphone amplification isn't bad at all. Price: $15 shipped.

-----------------------------------------------------

Optimus CD-3380 - Temporarily Not for Sale

Certainly very close in numbering to the CD-3400, but I'm not sure how similar it is in sound signature. Some people have guessed that the 3380 was like a 3400 without the digital output. Can get quite loud--a lot of amplification. A bit wooly-sounding, but can make some anemic music sound more exciting. The sound signature involves a slight treble boost and some extra bass. Musical in a strange way. Manufactured June 1993. Price: $20 shipped. Temporarily Not for Sale

-----------------------------------------------------

Feel free to PM me with any and all questions. Thanks for looking!

SOLD: Aiwa XP-55, Sony D-E805, Sony SWF-19 radio.

So far, the sale has been going quite well!

There are still a few models available, so take a look! And remember, I'm eating the shipping and PayPal costs, so the price you see represents the final item cost.

Also:

In addition to having headphone amplification sections, every single player in this auction has a dedicated line output for a shorter and cleaner signal path when connecting to an amplification source.

I'll take trades for quality cables, with Blue Jeans Cable getting priority.

Also possible to trade for an iPod Shuffle, whichever generation.

Or, you could just pay the listed price.

Bump...

I might consider taking offers. Did I mention that the Optimus CD-3380 comes with the original manual?

Still accepting best offers or trades for the Sony PCDPs. The Optimus players need a bit of TLC before they're ready to be sold.

Funny that you are selling a product with the word optimus on it right around the release of the movie Transformers (Optimus Prime). ...Anyway free bump.

I'd forgotten about this thread... The D-111 and D-135 players are still ready to go.
