United Radio also replaced my SACDmods 555ES's laser. Total with return shipping was just under $300.

Does anyone know if United Radio Service will sell you the laser part for later use in case my C555es finally goes under?

Same goes for a modded apollo of course wich in return would put jupiter to shame. so, what's the big deal? I know some former high end cdplayers when modded can beat or esally keep up with the newest stuff because most players still use 20 bits internally despite stating 24 bits!
