Some people are not easily amazed?

Had a few friends who said my modded KSC75 was good, but not amazed and none of them owned anything out of the ordinary. Anyone find it hard to impress people sometimes? Maybe I need to tell them what to listen for...

I'm using the KSC75 as an example here. Try imagine replacing it with anything high end and expensive but the scenario remains the same.

Did you use a decent source/amp?

EDIT: I should mention that some people can't tell the difference between their laptop speakers and my friend's multi-thousand dollar speaker setup aside from volume, so don't expect everyone to hear a difference.

I'm pretty sure it's the best thing they've heard at least. I prefer to use my ksc75 much more than my im716 whenever I can use it in a quiet environment

yeah, alot of people around here think im completely retarded for owning a $400 pair of headphones. i dont even really try to push the fact that i aimed for the upmost quality, and in taking care of my headphones, its still cheaper than breaking a pair of cheap phones every month.

Some people just don't have very good ears or they just don't listen to what their ears are telling them anyway.

People like what they like. I had a friend recently try to convince me that his bose headphones were better than anything I have. It was very sad.
