I guess that perfect pint glass has made it across the Pacific ocean to you in New Zealand.  My standard beer glass at home has been a Spigleau stemmed pilsner tulip for a while.

What do you think of the glass? I've been considering getting some of the Spiegelau glasses myself.

I can recommend the IPA glass. It works in much the same way as the Glencairn Whisky glass for my bourbons and whiskies, Riedel glasses for my wine, especially when reviewing. The right glass for the beverage makes a lot of difference to the enjoyment. When looking for the "right" glass for the beer you intend to drink, check out Rate Beer or Beer Advocate. The right tool for the job I say.

It's been a while since I have had this. I rate this brew. Awesome that such good beer comes out of Alaska.

Pipeworks Brewing Ninja Vs Unicorn Double IPA.  The beer is as good as the label art indicates!

Daigo - is that distributed in your area? I'm one state over and we don't get many beers from Chicago unfortunately.

Pipeworks is only distributed near Chicago as far as I can tell.  I regularly trade beers with people on the beer geek site beeradvocate.com, so that was how I was able to acquire a bottle (as well as Pipework's Citra Ninja DIPA which is excellent as well).

Ahh! That makes sense. My friend was in Chicago not too long ago and had their "Something Hoppy This Way Comes".. he still claims it as probably his favorite DIPA that he has had.

I need to try more of their beers for sure.  I was in Chicago earlier this year in May and couldn't drink enough of the beers in the area.  Though I did have my fill of Revolution, Three Floyds and Half Acre beers that I could find.

Kriek by Brouwerij Lindemans. Love a good Belgian Fruit beer. Sometimes better than having dessert.
