I am considering the JVC SU-DH1 for its Dolby Headphone capability. The US version uses 2 AA batteries. The Japanese version has the option of using an AC adaptor. If I got the US version, I would probably get a set of Li-Ion rechargeables. For the Japanese version, I would have to use a voltage transformer or a universal AC adaptor.
The AC adaptor would probably be more convenient, but which power source will give cleaner power, the batteries or the AC adaptor?
