The KSC35s had a larger sound stage but some of the noise got muffled because it wasn't all focused inside your ear like it is with the Yuin PK3. I listen to the PK3s is relatively noisy environments (on the school bus) and it holds it's own pretty well without leaking out much sound at all.

I imagine needing the volume to be at least 70 decibles, though, so that's still a minus in my book. That's why we have IEMs and canalphones :-)
But for myself, lack of sound-stage is a big hit in quality. I feel that music isn't quite music without that "live" feeling, even if the sound is clear and strong. If it didn't matter that much, then my IEMs would have been enough headphone for me, period. However, hype draws me in like moths to the spending fire; burn, money, burn!
Day two, of my wait. I skipped out on a game of ultimate laser-tag and dinner with some friends because of the money "invested" in these buds. If I can survive at least 2 more weeks without spending squat, my wallet won't haunt me after halloween

And I imagine the mylarones to have three notable differences over the Yuin line of earbuds: soundstage, warm mid-range, and more notable bass. The expense that (in exception to the pk2/3) they give is clarity and mid/high separation of the mylars. I don't imagine it to be much of a cut-back in the latter, though, especially since you seem to have an amp.
