Okay, so, I can't be the only who's noticed this. My search for "Max Headroom" didn't turn up empty so much as find a lot of threads about amps. Don't we value Max Headroom knowledge on Head-Fi? Is he not the virtual icon of a new generation wielding his scepter of unopened cans of New Coke?

What I need to know, more than anything, is: was this somehow intentional? Is Max Headroom the unofficial, unknown mascot of Head-Fi? Is he practically a founding sponsor? Is he something more, perhaps even a founding father?

I say it is time to end this charade, brush off cobwebs, dig up old bones, and rattle cans on sticks. It is time to stop letting Max Headroom drift in a sea of digital obscurity, forever chased by the Lawnmower Man across a landscape of ones and zeros and weird annoying lines. Tron can't save him; it's up to us.
