E500PTH for ~$205?

I was at the local Fry's in Sacramento and saw the Shure E500PTH going for ~$204.xx... I remember them costing quite a bit more, but with all of Shure's new releases I figured they were priced accordingly. I went home and checked the prices on Amazon/etc. and they are still over $350!

So, is it worth $204? or more?

wow I would pick them up for $205.

hell I'd get 2! and that would still be cheaper than one at retail value.

wow!! wish I could get that price and get it posted to England

We sell them for $499. If you found them for $204 grab them and run. It's either a price tag mistake or they could be blowing them out because their customer profile doesn't care for high end in-ear earphones and they got overstocked or something like that. At any rate, we as authorized direct dealers have to pay much more than that. So go for it!!

Yeah this is frickin tempting for me as well. Thank god for Fry's Electronics. But I really am not in the position nor have the desire to buy em :/ Like the deal aspect is tempting me, but I have never really considered Shure as my next pair of IEMs... really looking at the Westone 3/UE10Pro/Westone 3 Customs/UE Next Flagship. I guess there is a chance that E500PTH will actually be what I want, but from where I'm standing a 220 (After tax) gamble seems a bit too sketchy. I guess if I could line up a for sure buyer in case I don't like it after like 3 days of use, I would be willing to pick one up and pass what I paid + shipping + paypal fees to said person.

Wow uraflit, you became very popular suddenly.

And also, for those who are requesting he buy a pair for you, keep in mind his own wallet is the one that is going to suffer first, and may be a few days or weeks before he can make up for all those Shure models he bought in one go.

dude i will give you $240 paypal to get me one

not kidding either.

I'm willing to bet that the odds of him comming back with even 1 pair at that price tomorrow is slim to none.

For the OPs sake, I hope I am proven wrong!

Good luck.
