"crickets chirping"

Alberto and Esteban, Thanks so much for making this possible.

I wonder sometimes if I would have even gone to this discussion if I wasn't taping it. I'm so glad that I went.

Of course, the best part was listening to all the cuts Steve played for us, Over The Rainbow, Stardust, Aqualung, Moondance, etc.

The stories about Ray Charles going to Goodguys to buy a Walkman, or wailing along to Hit The Road Jack(?), the issue with the Original Mastertapes of Aqualung, the bonus track on the Nat King Cole's Love Is The Thing CD, btw, which I think is just a crazy good sounding track.
I think he spoke about an hour and a half and I could have listened to him talk for at least another hour, maybe more.
I don't suppose there is anyway to get Steve to Headfest 2008 ??

Thanks to you Bruce for filming this video, and thanks to all of you guys for making Steve's appearance possible an for capturing this unforgetable moment, thanks to Neil and Blessing for the pictures and artwork, and thnaks Esteban for making this possible...

BTW we just did our small contribution to make it look a little more commercial like, that's all...
The DVD versions will finish rendering today, the blank TDK DVD-R were already purchased, waiting for the final word on the prints...

Bump!

Thought I'd bump this. Maybe the Chi-town meet thread is hiding this news a bit.

Yessssssss!!!

Downloading now.

Ah. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I've been negligent in checking this thread so as not to be too much of a PITA. Please understand my passion is not to be confused with PITA... I just wanted everyone to get a chance at access to one of the most amazing things I've seen in years.

Alberto, Bruce, Esteban: BIG thanks for all you've done with this production.

Al, episiarch: BIG thanks to you as well for keeping the flame burning on this one, while trying to put out some of the associated fires.

I think some of the cricket factor is due to where this forum now sits. Back in April and May, the Headfest forum was listed with all the other forums, but now is a sub forum.

Anyway, I'll try to get the word out in the other places.

I can make it a sticky, but I think that it should be in the separate 2007 National Meet forum, which the organizers will have control over.

Please at least to place it in some place that will be more accesible and visible to others, honestly right now it is pretty hidden, and will be missed by many that may be interested in taking a look at it...

BTW we are still working on the DVD versions, the rendering had some problems, and needed to be repeated time after time, till it finally went out smooth...

DVDs are ready to go...

Well finally the DVDs are ready, I received the originals about three days ago but I have been working in making a lot of copies. We have now NTSC and PAL, both versions are region free, I sent already a bunch of copies to a few friends and members, I would like to send, at least, one copy to each country, in order that you can copy and pass it along to the rest of the headfellows, but unfortunatelly I do not have the adresses, and the quantity will be limited to maybe ten copies more...

I will try to post the inlays, booklet and DVD label files on the same website, so you can download and print them yourself...

Thanks Voltron for the your contribution, and also I really appreciate that all members interested in the DVD copies, also think in offering an small contribution as well (please no profits) it is just to cover the shipping costs, as you all know, padded envelopes, CD cases, and postage is not free (specially to other countries)...Just to give you an idea, I have spent more than $100.00 myself in shipping alone already, and I still have a few packages to go...
