You can access Head-Fi on a BlackBerry, but it's a pain to navigate. Actually, it's a pain to navigate on any mobile device and also takes forever to load since vBulletin produces extremely bloated pages. You can get around it if needed, though. Hope you are using a newer BlackBerry, like an 8700, 8800, or 8100 because an older one like the 7290 won't handle Head-Fi very well at all.

Another headfier turned me on to surfing sites that aren't mobile friendly by using Google. Look up the Headfi site via Google and connect to it through Google. In doing so, you get a "lite" version of the site that is somewhat like a mobile site. Not ideal but surely a faster way of enjoying Headfi on a portable.

Head-fi has never made me late for work.

I surf heaf-fi a lot while using my 8800. I think the pages load pretty quickly, concidering what it is. I have head-fi as my home screen.

Does it count if Head-Fi keeps you up too late the night before work? Manning the night shift here can leave you pretty groggy in the morning.

Speaking of portables, I wonder if the iPhone will render Head-Fi well. Just think about that- you can be on the go, with your headphones plugged into it AND posting at the same time. How cool would that be?

What would be really nice is if Head-Fi had WiForums software installed since it is made for mobile devices and is far, far faster than vBulletin on such devices. HowardForums and other sites use it and it makes viewing and posting on forums so much faster and more convenient. But I doubt there'd be enough users of it to make that worthwhile for Head-Fi, though.
