Sad news....

I regret to inform all of you that after 9 months, my son Mark James Fortner passed away yesterday. I was at work at 911 when I received the call from my wife informing me that he had stopped breathing. He was rushed to the hospital and pronounced shortly thereafter.

While I will read the boards infrequently the next few weeks, I probably won't be posting for a while.

Thanks for all of your wishes and prayers for the last nine months for my youngest son. He was a fighter and gave it all up until the end.

Michael, I remember a few months ago you posted your son was facing difficulties, starting with being born premature.

As the father of a young son, I can't imagine what you're going through, and I have nothing to offer you but prayers from my wife and me.

Michael, I cannot imagine what you and your family are going through right now. Mark and your family are certainly in our prayers. Please let us know if there's anything we can do for you.

Another father of a young son here too, I don't know what to say. Thanks for sharing something this hard with us, if you need to just talk feel free to post up anytime.
