Have been hearing back from people and WOW, sounds like it was a great show!!!

Sorry to have missed it as had a track event at Watkins Glen International and am really bumming to have not attended the Headfest (but happy to do 2:07.5 lap times on the 3.4-mile WGI long course with a totally new to me car that am still trying to learn how to drive per se).

Have JUST posted four pages of photos from Leonard Norwitz and plan to publish a lengthy show report (text) from a Head-Fi'ers shortly once he finishes writing it. Am happy to feature a link on Enjoy the Music.com's main homepage at www.EnjoyTheMusic.com to the show report. Keep up the GREAT stuff and PLEASE e-mail me when you guys/gals set up the next Boston event as i might be able to get a few special cars there and provided good weather, maybe some drives

Of course in the end what really matters is that you...

Actually, that was Johnny Numbers in the K1K room. Last year it was John Grado. What John will it be next year?

Thanks everyone, rolled into home at 2am after a long-haul from the track and made HF2 the priority of the day.

I'm surprised at how few HeadFest jokes there have been, Steve, so we appreciate a little tawdry talk. Leonard did an AMAZING job with the pics and he has an especially strong sense of people -- some of the pics are just so touching. I wanted to thank you and Leonard both for caring enough to send the very best, as Hallmark says. We hope you can make the next one in person, but don't forget to bring Leonard!

Take as long as you want. =] I knowhow a day at the track feels. It's one of the most exhausting past times I've ever experienced.

Pleasae schedule the event not on a track day (see, you guessed the URL by now i best... www.EnjoyTheTrack.com ). Truth be told, Leonard is a pro photographer and (cheap plug here) has a store/business called Len's Photo in San Jose. He has done work with many people including TAS and is a VERY avid music lover, audiophile, and without a doubt an all around great guy. If you love classical music he is THE MAN to know, especially vinyl.

Many, many, many, many... thanks. Two days at WGI in a new to me car, the usual little mechanical gremlin showed up and lost out on the first session (bleeding clutch line fixed it). Bled brakes after day 1, etc... did bolt check at 6am on day 2. Usualy stuff you probably know about during each day (pressure checks, refuel to carry minimum fuel load, etc). Color me engineer, mechanic and driver. Slept at the track, not at a hotel (need to keep expenses super low so PB sandwiches are my friend). Finished track day at 4:30pm followed by driver's meeting/trophy stuff, said goodby to various guys, packed up car and all bits in enclosed trailer, on road at 6:30pm... and eventually home at 2am. The car is amazing!!! Over 2 G's in the turns and almost literally stops on a dime (60 mph to 0 in less than 100FT). What a rush!

Thanks so much for sending your contingent to HeadFest. The report and pix are simply outstanding. And your team fit in with the crowd like a pair of comfy slippers. PM me your racing schedule, and we'll try to be sensitive to making sure the weekend of next years meet will work for you. Then you can take off those tight driving shoes, and put on a nice soft pair of Scoobydoo house-shufflers and join in the fun.

Just finished reading Stoney's report - good comprehensive stuff! I'm surprised he soldiered on that far before running out of steam, what a trooper! Yeah, one more day to recharge the batteries and hit that last 1/3 of the gear would do the trick!

BTW, sounds like he's a Senn guy. As a Grado guy, I'll forgive him just this once.
