VINYL FANS REJOICE!
...Rhino Records Jumps Into The Audiophile Market All-Time Classic Favorites!
Cut by Kevin Gray and Steve Hoffman at AcousTech Mastering!
From the Original Analog Master Tapes!
Pressed on Virgin 180-Gram Vinyl at Record Technology, Inc.
We've known about this for nearly a year but were sworn to secrecy. Believe us, it's been hard to sit on a secret this big. Now we're ready to scream it from the rooftops because this is a BIG, BIG DEAL. We've listened to test pressings of all of the below preorders, and we assure you this is a reissue effort that will please any audiophile, music lover or record collector. Original analog masters! 180-Gram LPs pressed at RTI! Mastered at AcousTech! WOW! Those of you who've heard the remastered Joni Mitchell/Blue know exactly what to expect.

THE PRICES LISTED BELOW ARE UNOFFICIAL. However, we will honor these announced prices for all preorders. We're certain that the prices won't be any lower than this, but if they are, we'll honor the lower price. For those who wait, you will be subject to any price increases.

We haven't been given any release dates, though now that the mastering has been done, we're hopeful that we'll see most of these titles by the end of the year.

Ry Cooder - Jazz
A longtime audiophile favorite, Jazz focuses on earlyragtime and vaudeville traditions of American jazz. Three songs ("In A Mist," "Flashes" and "Davenport Blues") are tributes to the legendary cornetist Bix Beiderbecke.

ARHI 3197 - $24.98

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

http://store.acousticsounds.com/brow...words=NL042407
Van Morrison - Moondance
Moondance links together elements of gospel, rhythm & blues, jazz and rock as only the ultra-talented singer from Belfast can. Tunes like Crazy Love, Moondance

ARHI 3103 - $24.98

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

http://store.acousticsounds.com/brow...words=NL042407
Rickie Lee Jones
Easily one of the most impressive debuts by a singer/songwriter ever. This one features a very strong collection, highlighted by the hit "Chuck E's in Love."

"Grounded in jazz, copping its wit from jump blues, the music Ms. Jones made transformed the American musical canon into her private theater and hiding place." - The New York Times

ARHI 3296 - $24.98

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

http://store.acousticsounds.com/brow...words=NL042407
Fleetwood Mac - Rumours
Nineteen times platinum in the U.S. alone, Rumours is one of the best-selling albums of all time. Includes the hits "Dreams," "Go Your Own Way" and "You Make Loving Fun." All original artwork and packaging. This record was exceptionally recorded to begin with, and now with a remastering job from the original analog masters

ARHI 3010 - $24.98

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

http://store.acousticsounds.com/brow...words=NL042407
ZZ Top - Tres Hombres
"...ZZ Top's definitive work, a Tex-Mex combo platter of blues, soul and funky hard rock, spiced with a little Beefheart-inspired

ARHI 3270 - $24.98

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

http://store.acousticsounds.com/brow...words=NL042407
ZZ Top - Fandango
Released in 1975, ZZ's blazing follow-up to Tres Hombres features equal Texas-sized helpings of studio and live cuts, "

ARHI 3271 - $24.98

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

http://store.acousticsounds.com/brow...words=NL042407
James Taylor - Mud Slide Slim
For the follow up to his classic Sweet Baby James, which rivals Tapestry's place in the boomer canon, archetypal sensitive singer-songwriter Taylor wisely elected not to stray too far from the approach that had worked so well on his previous album. One of the most memorable tunes here

ARHI 2561 - $24.98

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

http://store.acousticsounds.com/brow...words=NL042407
James Taylor - Sweet Baby James
Though James Taylor's self-titled debut introduced his mellow melodicism and affecting song craft, Sweet Baby James was the album that rocketed him to national recognition. With Sweet Baby James, Taylor abandoned the slightly psychedelic structural ambition .

ARHI 1843 - $24.98

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

http://store.acousticsounds.com/brow...words=NL042407
Frank Sinatra, Duke Ellington - Francis A. & Edward K.
The best moments on the album fulfill all of the duo's promise. All eight songs are slow numbers, which brings out Sinatra's romantic side. "Indian Summer" is a particular standout, with a sensual vocal and a breathtaking solo from saxophonist Johnny Hodges. Much of the material on the album doesn't gel quite as well, but devoted Sinatra and Ellington fans will find enough to treasure

ARHI 1024 - $24.98

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

http://store.acousticsounds.com/brow...words=NL042407
Joni Mitchell - Blue
"...the reissue has far greater presence and physicality and is more immediate, dynamic, detailed and especially transparent. To their credit, Gray and Hoffman didn't try to mess with the original's intent. They've remained true to it while improving upon it in every way. Highest recommendation, and a most highly anticipated reissue that lives up to every high expectation." Music = 11/11; Sound = 10/11 - Michael Fremer

ARHI 74842 - $24.98

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

And there's more to come. Rhino is going to keep rolling out classic reissues - hopefully for a long, long time. And they're committing a good portion of their new, contemporary titles to vinyl. Here's a look at some of what's to come:

Wilco - Sky Blue Sky (two LPs, mastered by Stan Ricker) (May 15)

The White Stripes - Icky Thump (two LPs, mastered by Kevin Gray and Steve Hoffman, recorded on analog tape at 30 IPS) (June 19)

PLUS new releases by the Smashing Pumpkins, Spiderman 3 Soundtrack picture disc, Slayer, Linkin Park 7" picture disc of the single "What I've Done" and catalog releases from R.E.M., Metallica, the legendary Sire label and more!

Thank God. The stuff he played was amazing, and it seemed a bit sad that none of it would be available.

yeah it's some funky thing where the back catalog is from Warner/Reprise, but it's being reissued via the Rhino label. Blue is almost here, Moondance on tap!

Indeed. I am so happy! I placed the order for all 10 yesterday and placed an order for Highway Companion today! Now I am hoping that the Beatles clips he played are the remasters everyone thinks are coming out soon. That would simply make my day!! Apple Lossless Beatles as remastered by Steve Hoffman!!!!
