OK, so I did a bit more reading, and this is what I came up with (nothing new for you guys, but new for me
+The DT770 is the best for gaming
-It requires an amp to sound good
*There are two versions (what's the difference between the two?)
+The A900 is a "jack of all trades"
+It's good for almost anything
+It doesn't require and amp
-It's big and clunky
-The headband is a bit weird
+The HFI-700 is awesome for music, but isn't the best for gaming
+It is really portable with the folding design
-It's somewhat uncomfortable to wear for a long time
-It's not uncommon for one to sweat more easily with them on
From what I can gather, I think I will go for the Darth Beyers, since there is such a large fan base (a good thing!) for it. As many have said, the Darths require an amp to sound decent, so i will have to purchase a separate amp. I've posted in the Amp section about this, but they haven't been particularly helpful. I was looking at the following amps:
-Xin SuperMacro IV (dunno if I'm in for the 4+ month wait...)
-Emmeline SR-71 (the only source of power is from 2 9V batteries right?)
-Emmeline The Hornet "M"
-HeadRoom Micro Amp
-Xenos 1HA-EPCBTW, they all need to have TWO sources of power---either from a wall socket or thru batteries.
