loading procedure

Got off the horn with Ryan aka GlendaleViper earlier.

We do have access to the library's loading dock for those of us who are bringing home sources or a lot of gear. For everyone else, please just use the main entrance of the library.

The procedure is pretty simple, pull up into the loading dock and simply call Ryan on his mobile. He'll be out shortly to let you in, and with any available man power from members already present. We would suggest coming early but not before 8:45 am, Ryan needs get there first!

I'm not going to advertise Ryan's mobile on an open forum, just PM him or me aka pixel pusher for the number.

PLEASE keep in mind that the loading dock is not a parking zone and that once we get you unloaded, you'll need to go park your car ASAP. Here's a pic of the library's loading dock that I posted earlier. It's the space in the middle without the car. The space with the car belongs to building next door.

Best,
Kev

I can't come to the Toronto meet! Will anything be happening Sunday, perhaps?

edit: Oh, I guess you're full up, anyways. Anyone selling SR-60s, AKG K-27s or anything similar?

Nevermind this, I got into the system and have picked out 4 or 5 things I'd particularly like to hear.

2. Anyone possibly interested in trading their HD650 for my K701? I will bring it if there are some interests.

3. I need to borrow someone's CDP's optical/coax out
It turns out I am driving so I could bring a cart to help with transport. I am not absolutely sure what time I will be there though. I'll try for 9 or 10 but I'm a night owl so..... Do you know when you are arriving? (I also have a couple of Pioneer CDPs. DV 578 universal DVD and a PDR 509 recorder (both with opt. & coax out) Not the best but the 509 has .002 THD & made in Japan)

If you post (or PM me) the title and the PCD or PLD call# I'll add them to the list.

You were right about the site being down for awhile.

Seems fine according to Post#392

Unofficially, yes. The avg. speed on the 401 is 120 - 140 km/h. If you keep it to 120 (~77mph), you should be fine.

Any DT770s?

I checked the Gear list and didn't see any DT770s (other than a posted "if they arrive in time" set of Darth Beyers)

Anyone else got a set they could bring?
