Finally received the Westone 3 yesterday

From Celion Dion to Harry Belfontane, from Jazz in the Pawn ship to Vivaldi it sounded just awesome, awesome!

This would be the first pre-production pair in Canada and all in attendance will have a chance to audition it

Stuff for sale:

A McAlister Tube Audio PL-12 premium headphone amplifier, can be used as a pre-amp as well.
vModa vibe and bass freq. earphones.

Damn, it looks like my plans for a place to stay on Saturday have fallen through so I won't be able to turn up for any of the after-meet festivities. Also, I might end up having to leave a little early, but nothing really severe I don't think.

Oh well, I'm sure it'll be good anyway.

I've heard the PL-12 before myself and it is a great performer. My McAlister Audio Massive Attack is basically a balanced PL-12 with a few changes.

Hello Guys, I mentioned in a previous post (or PM) that I had a pair of 340s quite a few years ago. Does anyone know when they went out of production?

They went out of production around 20 years ago I think... not sure of the exact date though.

1. Where are we suppose to unload? any cart available for getting all the gears inside? do we park in the loading dock and unload or just in front of the library? Do we have load/unload procedures?

2. Anyone possibly interested in trading their HD650 for my K701? I will bring it if there are some interests.

3. I need to borrow someone's CDP's optical/coax out

I have a friend who might be interested in coming along. Wouldn't be until 5ish.

He isn't into headphones, But I'd like to bring him to change his mind.

Double check with Ryan, but IIRC, you're friend is out of luck - we're maxed out people wise, and he didn't sign on to head-fi or confirm his spot.

Honestly speaking as well, I'd prefer we have everybody accounted for. Many people including myself are bringing multi-thousand dollar collections to the meet, and I want to be semi-sure that what I bring with me comes home with me...

That was my understanding as well, and I'd prefer we didn't deviate from it now.

Anyone looking to bring a guest was asked to have their friend register on Head-Fi and RSVP through PM for tracking and, as Omendelovtz mentioned, for a little extra security with who enters the meet. Sorry pal, but we're full-up.
