Curious situation. UE Super.Fi 5 pro.

About three weeks ago I broke my UE super.fi 5 pro. Yeah... while I was changing my cable with the new one, one earphone fell down. When I attached it to the cable, I've realised that woofer doesn't work anymore.
The main problem which I have is that I don't live in US nor in UK, so here, in Latvia it's impossible to got any service, or even to buy new. So, anyway, I've sent an email to Ultimate Ears and describe my problem, even though they won't solve my problem because I've bought them on ebay, but, It seems that I still have warranty. I didn't get any emails from them. But, basically, what they can do.... if I don't live in US and here people in the stores don't have any ideas what is IEM...
Anyway, now, I have one working earphone (left), all accessories and fully new cable oh, yeah, and one broken (occasionally destroyed) earphone (right).
So, this is my story. What do I want now? Your suggestions. Actually I'm quite fed up of this expensive IEM's. I had Etymothic ER-6i which were about 100£ and which are broken as well and now this super.fi 5 pro. Best way for me would be: if I have the possibility to buy just one working right earphone. Is it possible? Another way is to sell this "package" to anyone... It is possible, I think, if someone need only one left earphone Anyway... what do you think guys? And yeah, super.fi 5 pro are awesome earphones. I really don't want to change them, but it would be stupidly to buy another pair of these. I'm thinking about new Shure SE420. Probably. Thank you for reading and thank you in advance for your suggestions.

i dont know but you can send it to some expert member here can have a look at it and see if its repairable and can make it work. i dont know who is good with iem's here , try searching the forums.
100 pounds for er-6i thats crazy money there ... i think you should try out the for sale section here , you definitely get it cheaper than online retailers if cash is an issue... you need 50 posts to enter there so , will take ya some time , good luck

It's better if you send these to UE and call then after for replacement or to fix these.

Poor soul.

I'd insistently try to get in contact with UE. Even if you bought the stuff without the oportunity to use the warranty, they ought to help you. Selling a single earphone to you should be the least they can do for you.

I agree. either way UE will be able to help you I'm sure. At the worst you'd have to include money for shipping when you sent in your package to them. Good luck

One of mine has a crack in the housing, so I feel your pain. I purchased them from another member here on the boards, so I don't have the original receipt. I contacted UE and they said to mention that in my letter to them explaining the issue. I was provided an RMA number and told to send them in so they can be replaced, so I'd recommend digging a little further with them and see how you can deal with the international shipping.
