If you're considering a bunch of amps, don't forget the Go-vibe v6, also an excellent amp that is in the same price range as the XP

It really doesn't matter what amp you get right now anyway, cause three months down the line you're going to want up upgrade anyway

In the PiMeta the OpAmps and Buffers are usually in sockets so you can swap them to alter the sound, while the XP (I believe like the PINT) is SMD (miniature components soldered onto the circuit board) and not 'readily' swappable.
In other words, the PiMeta has some flexibility in that you can (yourself, easily) change the sound while with the PINT and XP "it is what it is" (short of returning it to Mister X for an OpAmp swap).
