WHAT?!?! Where were the 10$ docks?!?! WTF!!!
Are there any left? I think I am coming back tomorrow, so maybe I can pick one up.
EDIT: Oh, Impressions...
It was AMAZING.
I was very impressed by the Denon cans, and the K340's were great. The orpheus was not my cup of tea (which I was shocked by) and I loved everything from stax, the basic setup will definitely be my next purchase. I didn't get a very good chance to listen to Todds new amp, but would like to tomorrow. The shure 530 was a blast to listen to. My first experience with the K1000's was a great one, if I were able to use those, I would almost definitely start saving for a pair.
Probably the coolest thing I saw was the new ALO Grado Woodies (yes, it is official, and they sound GREAT)
I found out my amp SUCKS for my Grados, I also found out I pronounce Grado wrong (Graydo, not Grahdo), and I wish I could have tried an RA1, but much to my dismay, there wasn't one there.
I was very impressed by the woo3, it paired great with my cans imo.
I didn't get to try the headroom desktop speaker setup, but it looks really cool, hopefully I can try it tommorow. The new desktop portable (dac/amp combo) is awesome, sounds great and is extremely functional, looks like we have a new Aria/Opera competitor.
Ray's new amp (the apache) was quite impressive, especially when paired with the balanced PS1's he had with him. :-o
The new singlepower mini was awesome (it's a mini tube amp), great sound in a tiny package.
It was amazing. I wasn't planning on going back, due to school related stuff, but I decided I can put it of, I am definitely going back tomorrow!
