Just a little status update...
I re-named this thread to call it the official video thread. So anyone with video footage from the meet, please feel free to post URL links (youtube...etc...) here in this thread.
I wanted to retain the first few posts of this thread. IMHO it kind of gives a little background on how the video thing all came about. Neither Utep10 or I were really prepared to do any "official" filming for the forum. In fact, it wasn't even mentioned at (least to me) until a day before the meet.
A total last minute thing.
I'm looking at a total of 5 videos. 3 videos will be shorter, ~5 minute preview types set to music. The theme music will be 3 categories, Metal, Texas Blues and Jazz my 3 favorite categories of music.
The remaining 2 vids will be longer... Day 1 and Day 2... Basically, me just surfing the floor looking at gear and talking to vendors, these are more detail-oriented where you all will get in touch with the sights, sounds and the smells
of a live head-fi Meet.
I just finished capturing all the video scenes onto my HD from my camera. I've got probably ~50 or so, "scenes" on my HD. Theres a Tyll scene, a TTVJ Scene, a Jude scene...etc...
Its now a matter of storyboarding all the scenes to make them into a cohesive presentation. And then on to the editing phase...
Phwew!!
Expect to see the previews up in a few days. Believe it or not, the hardest part is picking the theme music from my collection.
