SF Giants Game Giveaway for Registered HeadFest Attendees

So, I think I will be busy this Friday evening at the hotel getting ready for the meet, and therefore cannot use my tickets to the Giants game. The Giants are playing the Arizona Diamondbacks and the game starts at 7:15. I have two lower box seats and a Lot A parking pass to give away. If you are registered for the meet, and you have the night free, post in this thread why you should be the person who gets them. If more than one registered member is interested (and will commit that they will go to the game so the tickets are not wasted) then the best reason wins! Also indicate if you will want both tickets or whether you are solo--perhaps two Head-Fiers can win and meet up for the game.

I will post and contact the winner on Wednesday evening, and then I will put the tickets at will-call so you can pick them up on Friday.

Shoot, I want in for both tickets, I am a poor college student that couldn't afford the tickets on my own, and I think going to a baseball game would be a blast, I could take my cousin.

I have never been to major league baseball game.

how far away is the stadium from the radisson? i'll probably be in the hotel lobby by 7:20pm on Friday with nothing to do that night, unless 1911 shows up, in which case neither of us have plans.

Did I mention that the seats are in the section where the players' wives and families sit? Chiliman is looking good unless Jahn and 1911 can get in earlier or others get in the running. . .

yeah. i am free on friday...plus, i am thinking about the condos next to the stadium...good idea or bad voltron? my father in law who is a broker said that complex has been trying to sell for awhile but it seemed like a good location to me to pick up a condo in the city...

edit..if it's between jahn and i and chiliman..give it to the college kid...but quite a generous offer...

For a little subplot, I believe that Russ Ortiz will be pitching
against his former team that night. Who ever goes needs
to eat some garlic fries .

Jahn and 1911 are out because Jahn's flight comes in too late to make it to the game at a reasonable time. The competition is not too stiff here, people. Here is one more incentive:



Get to the game early and be among the first 20,000 fans who will receive the Playstation rally cap! I may have to require that if you get there in time, that I get one of them for my collection but that is negotiable!

Any other contenders?

We have winners!

Well, the competition was fierce (), but I have come a decision that would make Solomon proud:

1. The winner of Friday's tickets is Chiliman!!! I am very happy to facilitate someone's very first MLB experience, and all I ask in return is a Rally Cap!

2. I will hook up granodemostasa with tickets to a game another time when he can make it to the ballpark with another Berkeley-Fier like humanflyz or daba.

3. I will buy 1911 and Jahn a couple of drinks at the hotel bar and watch the game on the TV!

Aww, damn. My girlfriend and I are both registered for the meet and are both Giants fans. Too bad I missed this -- oh well. Have a great time Chiliman!

Hey, thank you so much for this, Voltron, my cousin and I are thrilled for the game! I will try to pass on the good will to other head-fiers when the opportunity arises.

As I sad in the PM, I will do what I can to get you a Rally Cap!
