There's a PartsExpress warehouse by me, and I stopped by yesterday for some parts. Their $1.99 headphone/headband, PN# 240-015 will work with KSC75's. I bought both the Durabrand headphone and the PartsExpress one, and I like the aesthetics of the Durabrand better, but the fit of the PE better. I made one "mod" to each headband however. The lower part of each side, below where the headphone snaps in, I used my Dremel and cleared out a bit of plastic so there was more "swivel" in the headphone. I find there is not enough movement just snapping the phones into the stock headband, and it was fatiguing the bottom of my ears. By "scooping out" a little bit of material from the headband it lets the KSC75 earpiece float better, kind of like my PortaPros.

This is a great mod. Made my KSC's so much more comfortable. I can also confirm that the cheap headphones airlines like JetBlue give out fit perfectly. Good thing I grabbed like 6 pairs this weekend. I knew I would use them for something.

Fits perfectly. Just hold and pull off Koss clips. Repeat with Durabrand phones.
To insert, simply push the Koss's into the Durabrand headband.

I tried to shange my portapros cups with ksc75 cups, but the sound got worse than ksc75, that extra pressure to the ears took away that airyness that ksc75 has and maked them more bassy, just like the portapro I thought, the thing that makes the ksc75 sound better than portapro to my ears, is the ear clips, sad because otherwise I like the headband

I'm not sure where the thread is, but there was a thread posted some time back by a member who managed to get more swivel on his stock KSC 75 clips by popping off that one darker gray piece of plastic (towards the bottom of the outer housing-->it hides the solder joints and pops out easily) and cutting off the top part of it-->as much as he could without compromising the protection that this piece gives the solder joints and then popped it back in place. This definitely does give you more swivel and would probably work as a viable option with the headband if you don't have a dremel to work with.

I just wanted to add my thanks to the OP. Stopped by Wallyworld today and picked up the radio set. All I can say is that this was a $5 I don't feel guilty for spending. Thanks!

i received the package now after 11 days! and not just that, they delivered a different one. the good thing is, i ordered 2 different headphones, and the other is a correct one (A070B).

the ksc75 snaps in to the headband perfectly. the headband is very comfy, but it doesnt clamp as much. i think the earclips clamp better. i like the headband mod more because the earclips hurt my ears.

Nice find.

will the Koss UR5 work for this mod?
No the UR5 has not real detachable driver...the Ksc75 detach from the clip.

This mod I believe greatly improves the ksc75.

The Ksc75 are the king of bang for your buck headphones.

I just got the Durabrand radio...I really love this mod! My KSC35's are even better!

Found this (very) cheap set of headphones for 1$ at my local dollar shop. It fits perfectly with the KSC75 clips. It's a pretty poor quality headband, but it's extra light and does what it's supposed to do. I'll probably spray paint to hide the brand logo, I don't want people to think I wear these kind of phones.

Here's the final result:

I just ran to wal-mart on my way home from work and grabbed that radio. I LOVE this cheap mod, this made me like these phones 1000% more. I hated the ear clips and can now enjoy these so much more.
