Never. It's really getting annoying, isn't it?

I think people know about it... it's just a dead forum. It's a shame, because it's the one I'm most interested in participating in, but it's so underused, you can get by checking once a month!

I thought I'd spend more time in the music forum after I finished my system but then I discovered the Sigforum and Wow guns are way cheaper than audio gear.

The music forum isn't dead, it just has three topics: "The Music Game," "What Are You Listening To Right Now?" and "What is the first LP/CD you bought?"

Ditto. I spend a lot of time in there and have learned about some great new music. But there really isn't a ton of action apart from the "What are you listening to now?" and "The Music Game" threads.

I think that most of the folks around here try building their dream setup according to their ears, budget etc etc. Once they have done so they refer to the music forum to get some ideas about albums etc etc. The bad thing is that they also poke their nose around other forums for equipment and then they think that there might be another "dream setup" they sound target for.

it's actually the forum page i frequent most often. shame i don't have more compadres.

I usually scan it about once a week if I think about it. I don't always think of it though so I've probably missed lots of good stuff.

One problem is the cost of some of the better CDs. I'm still trying to get the hardware lined up and still fill in some of the CDs that I DO know about that I've been trying to buy for months and months. So I'm still a ways from frequenting the music forum on a regular basis.
