I wonder if there are enough head-fi folk in utah for some sort of mini-meet.

I don't know, but I'd sure be up for it. I'm down in SLC.

If not, come to the Colorado meet! O.K., it may be too far to drive, but it will be fun, and we are neighbors!

It's going to be on May 5th in Colorado Springs.

Good to know.

Add me to the list of people in Utah who would like to attend a meet! (Sorry for the very late reply)

Alright, so, there are a few more of us than i thought, perhaps.

I'm open to suggestions for where we might hold such a gathering. I think that the ideal spot is probably the parking lot in front of SkullCandy's offices in Park City, as some sort of protest, but i doubt we can get a permit for that.

I live in Orem but i (currently) work in West Valley. I'm pretty much open to any suggestion that does not include my house. Which isn't up to it just yet. Maybe in 5 years I'll be hosting mini-meets in my livingroom - right now the livingroom has giant holes in the plaster.

Since we're geographically dispersed a bit, it'll have to be on a weekend.

The question is, do we just want to rent out a conference room in a hotel in south SLC or thanksgiving point or some other geographically convenient but bland spot - or do we go the other direction entirely and make it more of a destination event.

Something off-season in Moab, perhaps. When the parks are open but empty, and lodging rates are cheap. My best southern utah hiking experiences were thanksgiving weekend in about 1993 - the place was deserted and quiet, and past about 10am it was warm enough to go around in just a sweater or a light jacket. Late fall or early spring in southern utah sounds to me like something that could possibly work.

Yeah, this thread is a bit old... but I'm a new Head-Fier, and I'm in Provo, so I'd be interested in a meet sometime...

New guy here, I'm in Layton. Let's get something together.

This is ancient, but I'm new to the Head-Fi community, and wondering if there are any other BYU Students who care...

I'm still up for a meet, if anybody else is. This is an ancient thread, so I wouldn't be surprised if everybody in Utah has moved...
