Finally listened to Sennheiser Cardas critically

I've listened to the Cardas and stock but never really paid much attention because I'm too lazy to pull out the plugs to make comparisons.
So I did it last night and I have to say that the Cardas Sennheiser cable is very very nice! It cleans up the sound and gives better definition.

But my caveat is that it's too bulky especially for portable use and I prefer the stock cable in that situation because it's way more flexible.

Another caveat: It's ugly. The sky blue color looks out of place in a rig set up. I would prefer if it were a dark chocolate brown color if it were not to be black. Also, what's wrong with the traditional black color cable? Some of these after market cables look so tacky with the odd colors.

Other than that, I am impressed with the Cardas cable. Awesome cable!

The latest models have a gray jacket. The Smurf blue is gone.

I bought it used for a very good price. $100. I figure for $100, I can't go wrong for a high end after market cable.
