well, now I have actually voted Grado afterall... those fanboys will recommend a grado for anything:
Q: real: "I'm looking for a closed headphone that gives enough isolation and which can be used portably and I do not mind amping it. Do realize that I am quite a basshead, even though I mainly listen to rock and metal" what a grado fanboy reads: "Blah blahblah blah blah blahblahdyblah blah blahblah blahblah blahdydyblah blahblah blah blahdyblahdyblah blahblahblah blah blahhaha blahdydyblah blahabahablah blah blahblahdyblah blah blahblah blah blah ROCK and METAL" A: what a grado-fanboy answers: GRADO! ![]() |

Yeah see, Beyerdynamic wasn't even ON the list. Obviously, this means they are by far the best brand and being a fanboy can't even remotely be a bad thing. In fact, I'd go so far as to say being a loyal Beyerdynamic fan makes you better than everyone else.
Right? |

i couldnt agree more with this. its something ive noticed too. as long as the word rock and/ or metal is in there, everything else turns into EXACTLY what u wrote.
