by making this kind of posts you are getting yourself on the uncool list...
i dont put any1 on my ignore list, but i do skip threads if they are started by certain people

on more serious note, if you want to become cool, you gotta pay a fee of $35 to me by midnight tonight.

Well.... Heres what NOT to do:

Repeated Bose bashing threads - uncool

Excessive product bashing or glowing praise without an explanation why you feel that way - uncool.

Tell others what they are hearing - uncool

Poor grammar, punctuation or excessive slang use - uncool

Take anything written in this forum personally - uncool

Sell something won from a Head-Fi give-away contest - uncool

Wearing headphones backwards - uncool

Yes, but most of us are not cool enough to reach that fame, so we have to become particularly cool by other means.

The notion of "cool" in general I think is completely subjective and volatile. I pay little if any attention to any perception of coolness that some people might believe they project, or that some people might believe some other people project. I rather pay attention to what people actually say, and how they write, how clearly they express themselves, how they share their common sense, how interesting their thoughts might be, or their comments, arguments, and jokes.

Paying attention to a "cool" factor instead of substance of what is written/said for me would be similar to prioritizing the "brand" of a monitor instead of its actual picture quality.

1. No posting what everyone already knows, try to find some other way to get around it or something original.
2. Listen to stuff before talking about it.
3. be helpful with every post
4. no trashing or fanboyisms,
5. Don't start threads often..
6. Become a contributing member

...
