Well, here's the proof that many of you may be looking for.

I bought a PS3 at the Sony Store with the memory card reader device.

After tax? My total was $666.45.

I don't think anyone here who games would be surprised.

"the beast" reffered to in the bible was the emperor caligula. there was an old jewish tradition of encoding names using numbers which correspond to the name; in caligula's case the number is 616, so 616=the number of the beast.

now that the clear truth has been told, the thread may be closed.

Sorry dude the number is actually 616. You’ll have to get all your tattoos changed.

Supposedly the oldest original copy of the Bible found indicates the real Number of the beast is 616.

But there's a tiny bit of info missing here.
Every (nondegenerate) quadratic equation has two solutions,
sometimes they are real and sometimes expressed in terms of complex numbers.

You might think that the Number of the Beast i.e. x=666 is the only solution.
where is the second solution? ha, ha, ...

Hint: you should make some comment about the solutionS.
It's just fun.

Here's a memorable 666 encounter:

I used to work for a large national company and was mailing off corporate tax returns to about 35 different states. Although this might have changed (this was about nine years ago), the address for NJ was P.O. Box 666 Trenton, NY (yes, it said New York on the form). I don't even remember my address from that time, but hard to forget that one.

Oh for heaven's sakes...it's a NUMBER that comes between 665 and 667. The coin you're showing above is Roman, from what, probably around the time of Constantine. It's very similar of one I have of Aurelian, only not that one. I can see IMP C...Probus? It has NOTHING to do with Revelations lore.

Beware this thread, for it has the mark of AdamCalifornia, and that is far more scary.
