what is your biggest pet peeve of your SO?

Like the title says, what bugs you the most about your significant other, past or present?


one gf I had would call wayy to much. Like 5-10 times a day. Once every few hours, because she had nothing else to do. This was on top of us talking for 1-2 hours every night. She was also one of those people who sat down on the passenger seat of a car without first checking to see if anything was there. Any papers, maps, kleenex box, etc would immediately be smushed.

Either everyone else here has been well satisfied with past/present SO's

or

you're the only one here to have had one

or

no one else is willing to admit that their SO's have been anything other than perfect...

What are the chances???

I smell an SA forum reader.

Anyways.

This girl I used to like, decided it was a good idea to call me every, single, night.... Our conversations lasted about an hour of two, which had to stop.
She would always tell me about the movie white chicks, and how it was so funny. She liked those movies, like little man, it was sad. I told her to shutup one day.

Currently, no SO. Highschool, average age of females, 14-18, that happens to be the age at which you should avoid females.

i disagree; there's no way i'm going to avoid girls when i'm at the height of my puberty. what's the point of all these hormones if i'm not putting them to good use?

Snoring. Who did I piss off in another life that I deserve this sonic hell?

And he likes to half-assedly glance over details of important things, like say, buying a car, where everytime you ask him the details (language barrier here for me), it changes a little. Why? He doesn't remember it himself, and I always end up remembering more anyway.

Along those lines, when a communication breakdown happens, he blames it on language barrier. Nevermind that both mom and stepmom were English teachers that made him practice. Nevermind that Finnish is a distant third to English, and he's fluent in that as well. Nevermind that I have to ask him how to spell things. But if he forgets something? Nooo, it's language barrier. Riiiiight.

And then I ask him what he would say to me if I were a blond hair blue eyed Finlandsvensk. I get "......."

Yeah, same thing he said in English, that's what I thought.

Seriously though, we love to bicker, but rarely fight.

I did ask him once, "What would happen if I said now we speak Finnish so that I can practice?" He replied, in English of course, "Why do I have to speak a foreign language in my own home??" Seriously though I sympathize. He speaks it all day everyday, it's nice to have a brake.

I dunno, high school was definitely good times with my SO simply because everything was so new and exciting. It ain't the same when you're older.

Ive never had a SO. Poor me. My family must be starting to think Im gay.. or a loner. I just havent really found someone to ask out, or someone I could gather up enough courage to talk to... Maybe i am just a loner...

Current SO, no problems whatsoever. Closing in on six months now.

One before this, about a week -- clingy psycho.

One before that, about two weeks -- (MOD EDIT: Religious insult deleted.) not to offend anyone, but every time something didn't go her way, she said "I think God's mad at me" -- trying to convert me was the last straw).

My husband is almost perfect, that's a little annoying because it forces me to be nice and considerate in retun, at least most of the time.

grrrr, I hate being nice.

Hormones.

For a few days a month, it's like living with a completely different person (and not it a good way).

At least I understand it, and don't let myself get baited into arguments & such during that time. It's actually kinda funny now, but I must remember not to laugh (doesn't go over well either)!
