Sloppy ALO cables, or nitpicking? 56k beware. - Page 6

Lol, well if the braiding descrepencies are intentional, and they're also for sonic rather than practical reasons, loosening the braid will lower the impedance, allow more current, and change the sound a little bit; tight braids have higher resistance. Dont mean to thread-crap, just pointing out that there is reasonable merit that tweaking the braid affects the sound.

I'm a happy owner of a loosely braided jumbo cryo here.

Thats a nice effort gotchaforce, but I think Ken's cables have a different style than that logo- the big braids, ostentatious design and extreme cryo treatments beg for the almost Gothic font that he is already using. Maybe the logo you made would suit the cotton dock and silver/clean looking braids/flex covered work, but for monstrous cryo/copper products, I'd say stick with the present logo =D

Nenso, look what you opened up with your ill chosen words.

Ken's a upstanding guy who doesnt deserve back-handed compliments.

JM$100.

(Perhaps if you rephrase your original thread opener with less inflamatory words, it would be less Dubya-like. Forgive his burnin soul, Lord. )

Yes, I agree. That's why I tried my best after noticing my mistake to rephrase everything. From the title, to what I'm saying now. What else do I have to do, mind letting me know? Again, I will apologize.

at least it's frequently updated, etc... as opposed to the never-updated Singlepower and Ray Samuels' giant flashing frame of doom that dominates half the page.

I have a $499 ic in my signature so I think I'm ok.

I'm not in the market for any type of portable gear, I just hate to see noobs waste their money.

Biggie.

Not sure if this is truly a joke but yes, i would think he would do this, trade hour of your trade for an hour of someone elses trade, and all turns out well.

I thought it was funny, but definitely plausible. Trades like these are a super win-win.
