Furutech FP-704 vs. Neutrik NP2X

For those who are interested in a strictly physical comparison of the Furutech 1/4" verses the more common Neutrik plugs...

The Furutech is all metal and is substantially heavier and bigger (about Neutrik NP size).

Did prefer the Furutech over the Neutrik? I like Furetechs RCAs but they are way too expensive, but the teleplug is not too bad price wise.

Thanks for the pics!

how were the internals of the plug compared to the neutrik?
would you happen to have a Canare F16 around for comparison, too?

The plug/tip, the barrel, the chuck/strain, and not in the picture is the back of the screw-on barrel which also serves as a strain relief.
They're quite nice imo, and like the op stated, it's much heftier than the neutrik one.. seems more solidly built as well.

I hate that plug. From it's complete lack of strain relief to the absurd rhodium plating that requires Lucifer's own soldering iron to get a good connection to, there is simply nothing good about that plug.

This is so ripe for a Photoshop. WHY do I have to be at work right now?!?

soniccraft sells the Fururtech for $13.20. Not bad for a cryogenically treated, demagnetized piece of ear/eye candy.
