Wow! U3 Rocks!

Wow! I just downloaded some FLAC files to my new U3 and I am amazed at the sound quality my U3 is putting out! The sound is much better than what I was hearing from my daughter's Nano.

However, I am disappointed that I can only get about 25% of my songs onto the U3 before running out of memory. Is there a format that will give me something close to FLAC's sound quality while still allowing me to place more songs on the U3?

Your help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

320kbps MP3? Remember to use the latest Lame codec.

Use .Ogg Vorbis files. Your U3 supports it. Oh yeah I have one also and like it.

I doubt you will be able to tell any difference between high bitrate VBR MP3 and your flac files. Give it a try.

How's the radio?

I'm considering one of these units, as they're now available in 4GB.

How clean is the FM radio reception? Any comparison to the Samsung YP-T2?

Thanks.

Sorry, but I haven't tried the FM radio yet. I'll follow up with results when I do.

I had U3 and FM is ok, at you hear static. The D2 is better for FM...

Oops!

I meant to say, "compared to the Samsung YP-U2".

"T2" was a movie about an annoying teen and his pet robot.
