When I was younger and dating I hated it when girls would get their makeup on my shirts, hats and whatnot. I'm now happy to say that I have a wife who doesn't wear makeup and doesn't need it!

I wear makeup to work - but when left to my own devices I never touch it!! I'm really light skinned & if I don't wear at least mascara & eye brow pencil, you can't even see those hairs!! But it really is a pain to mess with makeup & when I don't have to - I don't!! I'm glad to see that so many men prefer women w/out it.

I hate makeup, makes someone look like a ridiculous clown. As I said in a separate thread, you should be proud enough of yourself to not have to hide behind a wall of makeup. Hell, I've had black circles under my eyes for my entire life and never felt the need to try and hide them. I may look like a raccoon, but I'm cool with that

See that's the problem. I like girls who don't wear make-up, I've often turned down girls and just told them that I don't like girls who wear make up. (Yes I've been slapped because of it) I'll take a spotty, intelligent girl with no make-up on over any girl with make-up on.

You guys assume because a girl is pretty that her character is flawed. Thats not always the case. Just because a girl is good looking doesnt mean she has worse personality. It would be nice to get an attractive girl but at the same time one with alot of character.

No I am not shallow, but you have to be attracted to someone to initially take interest in them, and you wont find out someone's personality if you think they are unattractive (because you might stay away from them). So if a girl totally lets herself go, how many people are going to think she is attractive (hey, somebody will, Im not trying to be mean or anything but its the truth).

That's not always true. I usually just talk to any girl I see alone, looks don't matter to me at all. Actually I'd be more willing to go for the unattractive girls, because they usually aren't full of them self and 9/10 have a better personality to boot.

While I do like girls to take care of them selves, and have at least some pride in their appearance, I don't like too much makeup. Hate lipstick, don't mind some small amount of eyeliner or something. The rest of it is just unattractive IMO.
And personality > looks any day.

Makeup & taking care of yourself aren't the same thing. You can take really good care of your skin etc. & not wear any makeup. I spend a fair amount of time w/various skin products - but I really don't like putting on makeup when I don't have to. And I really don't like how it feels. If I want to rub my eyes - I like having the freedom to do it w/out turning my face black!! Other things also show a sense of care - like keeping your nails nice & fixing your hair. Makeup is just pain though!!

Agreed. Sometimes I like to dress up as a woman with the wig and fake breasts and high heels and dress, but the makeup doesnt go on very well with my beard and all.
