Like Electronica? Buy Vitalic's "OK Cowboy" now!

This maybe a given to alot of you electronica fans out there already, but this album is simply too good for it not to have its own thread.

The album has a consistent elctro-techno undertone, but the influences cover rock, jazz, breaks and more. Its got that classic French vibe throughout, ala Daft Punk and Air.

Highly recommended to all the ex-ravers, club kids and anyone whose been to an after hours pary at 11am

Props to Virometal for turning me onto another fantastic piece of electro.

Man, are you telling me after fifteen hours no-one has commented on "Ok Cowboy"?

I guess it's evidence for how dispersed electronic music is.

BTW, Vitalic just released "This is the Sound Citizen", this past January. Has anyone heard it?

Oooh another Vitalic album?! I'm going to get on that...

I love Vitalic, picked up Ok Cowboy a few months ago. Polkamatic is absolutely brilliant!

Mouse on Mars - Iaora Tahiti (a little more IDM but awesome)

I thought I was the only one who knew of Vitalic. I'm glad there are others out there as well! Great stuff! Personally, I think he's better than Daft Punk...never got into them for some reason.

Well, if you do, please inform us of the verdict. "Ok.." dropped with some buzz. This latest one kind of slipped out. It's on a different label, and I tried to research some info. It was implied that it was a mix album, but the song titles infer original work; strange...

Good recs. I've never heard International Pony. Might have to look into that.

I know of a few Vitalic fans that lurk Head-Fi so heads up.

New album Flashmob will be released 10/8. It will be the first proper full length in over four years.
