ER6i and UM1: Compare/Contrast

Hey guys, I have the ER6i, and was considering a upgrade/sidegrade to the UM1. What could i expect differently from the UM1??

Comparing to ER6i UM1's have no highs, much more bass and better comfort.
I think there is no point to buy UM1s while you've got ER6i's. If I were you, I'd save some money and buy UE Super.fi 5 pro's

Thanks for the input. yeah, I was just wondering if that would be a worthwhile thing to do. Anybody else?

As a recent discussion was going, since you already have something to reference (the ER6i) to, you should probably think in terms of the sound signature or quality you're looking for.

In other words, do you have any gripes against the ER6i, or anything you really like about it?

If you want to try out a different sound without paying too much, the UM1 is certainly that.
If you're going fork out more money for an upgrade, you could look at the ER4, E4c or the SF5Pro (coming from and loving the ER6i, I don't even give this any consideration, but that's just me).

I would say think about what you dont like, and consider that when youre looking for a new pair. The super fi5 pros are my choice.
