I have seen mized reviews for both. If you were looking for the best quality and a little isolation, which would you choose? (price not an issue)

SJ5 has better SQ. K81DJ has better isolation.

You decide what's more important.

To be honest, I found it just as comfortable as the sj5. The sj5 has much less isolation as well, as it does not clamp as hard.

I also preferred the sound to of the k81's, much punchier bass. I felt the sj5's had rolled of treble and recessed highs as well.

No, I am not a bass head, and I don't have golden ears either, but that is what I thought of the two.

well actually i have been leaning toward the philips 460s. any opinions?
