Would anyone please recommend a quality digitial audio player that supports the Ogg Vorbis format, as well as MP3? Thanks!

I believe almost all if not all the COWAN players do both ogg and MP3 as well as FLAC, and they have a reputation for sounding quite good as well.

Sure, the discontinued Rio Karma. You should be able to find one used for very little €€ on eBay, etc.

The Meizu M6 can play OGG's, as well as MP3, WMA, WAV and FLAC.
And above all it has pretty good SQ.

I am looking for something similar to an iPod in terms of overall sound quality and easy-to-use navigation menu system and screen.

It has to be flash-based...no hard drives. Of all the recommendations given, which ones fit the bill?

(Too bad iPod just doesn't support Ogg Vorbis and FLAC!)

Not with the original firmware.
But with the help of Rockbox it support Ogg Vorbis, FLAC, and many more codecs. http://www.rockbox.org

Rio Karma and Trekstor Vibez come to mind, as well as Rockbox on any DAP that supports it. While the Cowons play Ogg, I don't believe any of them play Ogg gapless, which, to me, kinda defeats the purpose.

I agree with krmathis, any ROCKbox supported player will do nicely.

Anything Rockbox-able.

Or a Cowon player.

I would recommend RB, but more on the players that have had a version out for a while. The versions for the iPod are very unpolished and hard to use IMO. I would go for the H120 or something similar.

The IRiver T series flash players support Ogg. I have a T30 & it works like a charm. I had lots of Ogg files & needed that support & thats the primary reason I chose the IRiver -- have been satisfied.

Surprisingly the Palm LifeDrive PDA does. You need to add the driver to the bundled software but it works well.

I recommend either a H300 or H100 series player (H320, H340, H120, H140). Not nearly as easy to find as an iPod but it has awesome battery time with Rockbox (many Rockbox-enabled players, such as iPods have terrible battery life compared to the stock firmware). But if a 4-5 hour battery time is okay for you and you prefer a smaller, better looking player buy a 30gb 5/5.5G iPod or a 60gb 5G iPod as these are Rockbox compatible.
