Just got the RP7-B... gotta say it is really a step up from the Stello HP100. The difference is really noticable, in a good way.

Now the Edition 9 needs to get here already.

EDIT: Pics...

Well, one I got came with an Alps RK40 instead of RK50 so the retail is really *only* around $2250.

Having had a friend's RP6-DQ here for a while, which is a wonderful (single-ended) amp, I know you must be enjoying the music very much.

I look forward to your detailed impressions, after it's settled in there.

Congrats!

Congrats to a really good amp,
now we are at least three ??
around here that own the mighty RP7-B.

BTW,I saw that Rudi has some new nice amps on his homepage.
The RPX-100 QuadMono and RP010B MKII.

Must resist it !!

Nice! Yeah, some pictures please! Good to hear another nice piece of Rudi's handiwork! Too bad we don't hear them been discussed on this board too often these days. But I'm a little surprised to see the way the price hike are going these days for headphone amps. (in general)

My RP5.1 had been stashed away for a while. I whipped it out Friday and gave it a listen (since I was working from home). I was amazed how good it sounded. Using a pair of Amperex white label D-getter 6922s.

Well shouldn't it sound better if it costs almost four times the Stello price?

I'd like to see some pictures too.

That's crazy expensive for an amp. I hope it does laundry as well.

Both? I like the venting-holes look better than a solid enclosure.

Put laundary just out of the washer on the amp and it'll dry it!!! very very slowly.

And I just missed the delivery guy. Think it's the Edition 9 since it says it is from Ultrasone America.
