Shure RMA

I just want to be sure that I understand the Shure RMA process. I have a pair of E3c headphones that have recently been dropping audio in the right earpiece and garbling audio in both earpieces when I move the cord around. There's a problem in the wiring between the hub and the earpieces but I cannot figure out what exactly it is.

According to Shure's FAQ, I just package up my earphones, a receipt, and the repair sheet and mail it to them. There's no need for prior RMA certification, correct?

Correct.

Thank you very much. I'm used to PC hardware RMAs where I have to wade through tech support emails and convince them the product is broken before they give me an authorization number... Cool.

Things are so much more easier in the states. Here in Canada we have to go throught what you said: sending emails and waiting for RMA number, and weeeks of not listening to music.
