I was wondering if it's possible to get TRS > XLR adaptors and connecting my HD650s to the XLR adaptors thatA1 would run through the back of the PreSonus CS. Basically a cheaper version of the "Lavry D0 > HD650 balanced" solution.

That's exactly what I was thinking. Darn, I wanted to try out balanced senns before dropping $1000 on a DAC1 or DA10.
